REFLECTION: The Reality of Evil

The readings mentioned that some people regards evil as just in the mind of the one who is doing it. Which means that, evil is just a fiction or an imaginary illusion in a human mind that would never come to an existence. In short, it would only be evil, if you believe that it is evil. In contradict, I believe that, there is only no evil for those people who does evil. Why? Because no one people on earth admit mistakes if they believe that nothing is wrong in what they did. Of course, they need to justify their doings so that they could say in theirselves that there are good people. So in order to be clean in conscience, they need to create excuses just to provide proof that what they did is right.

Furthermore, some people regards pornography as an art as well as prostitution is not bad. Like for instance, writer use their hands in creating their piece to get money because that is what they are good to. So, what’s the difference to those people who get money in selling their flesh whom they are good to? What I am trying to say is that, every people have different approach in regards to the perception of evil, and we cannot change that. What we can only do, is to open our mind in the reality that evil is just deceiving us so that we could commit deadly and immoral sins. To end this, we must always remember that, our mind is the devil’s workshop or the starting point of everything. Thus, never think that it is not evil so that you could not create something evil.
